Vanilla, the queen of spices. With its strong and complex spectrum of aromas, it is one of the most expensive, exquisite but at the same time most popular spices in the world.
In order to preserve this wonderful aroma in the best quality, we have decided to return to the country of origin of vanilla. The Caribbean is to vanilla as Cuba is to cigars - it's simply the gold standard. From Farm2Table without any intermediaries, distributed from our mother Puronilla AG in Switzerland.
Over the past 3 years we as the Puronilla family built the "Blue Mountain Forest Vanilla" Farm. The Farm is located in the province Hermanas Mirabal in the Dominican Republic. Almost 40 hectares of rainforest, planted with 25.000 vanilla orchids, carrying eight tons Vanilla for the harvest 23/24.

Our partnership starts with a Letter of Intent (LoI) with La Loma Quinta Espuela, a cacao cooperative spanning 10,000 hectares of cacao fields destined for vanilla cultivation. Here's how we're making this transformation:

We are roughly 10 enthusiasts between the age of 20 and 60, all contributing to the success of vanilla.valley, be it on the farms, in product development or strategy, we all love what we do and are united by PASSION!
Our Farm
Nestled in Hermanas Mirabal, Dominican Republic, our "Blue Mountain Forest Vanilla" Farm spans 40 hectares of lush rainforest. It's home to 25,000 vanilla orchids, poised to yield eight tons of exquisite vanilla for the 23/24 harvest.
With over 30 years of history, this farm is the heart of Puronilla's Caribbean operations. What makes it unique is its legacy and the continued leadership of the original owner.
This farm birthed Puronilla's expertise in vanilla cultivation, where we developed genetic strains, refined farming procedures, and nurtured our love for the world's finest vanilla.

The concept is both, simple and effective. Every farmer, regardless of whether he invests himself, takes a loan, we finance him, has the opportunity to grow one hectare of vanilla; with 1.000 plants, no more! Growth beyond, comes naturally over time.
Vanilla is the most labor-intensive agricultural product in the world, hence its high price. If you want to get the best vanilla in the world you have to put in the effort and know what you are doing. Without monitoring and monthly control of all farms, the vanilla does not have our high standards of quality.
In summary, our vision is to be the bridge that connects cacao and other small-scale farmers with the resources and knowledge they need to diversify their crops and cultivate vanilla sustainably.
